Monday, March 19, 2012. March is National Peanut Month! I didn’t realize that until now. Growing up in India it was ground nuts for me. Peanuts are high in protein and a very good source of monounsaturated fats. Dry roasted peanuts are one of my favorite. As a child I still remember when we went on summer vacations my cousin sister used to take us to this big shop where they sold different types of roasted nuts. You got to choose what you wanted and then the shopkeeper will put that in a paper cone.
