Monday, June 13, 2011. Martha Would Be Proud. It is true, I have moved, first in December from California to Vermont and again in April from Vermont to the Rockland Maine area. I moved up here to work at a restaurant, I mean I did just go to school for a culinary degree right? This can be a problem, I think - I am officially an addict - but I suppose there are worse things than gardening to be addicted to. After you drill holes fill your jars with potting soil. It is not to late to plant your garden!

Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Indian Spiced Caramel Corn. Golden brown Indian Spiced Caramel Corn! I have never really been a big fan of caramel corn until tonight… As I was making some Garam Masala for a chicken marinade I thought about how delicious this spice mixture would be with something sweet! So I was thumbing though Heidi Swanson’s book Super Natural Cooking and found a recipe for Spiced Caramel Corn. Ah ha! That was it, so I decided to make my version of caramel corn with some Indian spice fusion.
