http://lifecoachmusings.blogspot.com/2009/05/quirky-traveller-sets-out.html
Saturday, May 30, 2009. The Quirky Traveller sets out . I have not been doing my Blog for some time as I have been busy reinventing myself! It's a very exciting time as I take the plunge and pursue my passion for travel - of the mind, body and spirit. As part of this process I had some quirky pics taken by Karen and Chris of http:/ www.lordmartin.com/. This one shows the beautiful quilt I got in Pukeiti, New Zealand. Taste Of Greece With the REAL Mamma Mia! Book via the Food and Co website. Let me know -...

Musing Of A Leadership Coach: Spring - Leadership Tips for Goal Setting
http://lifecoachmusings.blogspot.com/2009/03/spring-leadership-tips-for-goal-setting.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Spring - Leadership Tips for Goal Setting. To many of us, the Spring Equinox marks the real start of Spring. Back in January I resolved to wear shorter skirts - and that resolution is still in place, tho I still prefer jeans to skirts! Then I decided to give up wine (tho not at weekends) and chocs till Easter. And I am delighted to report that I have kept to that resolve too - tho it's proving more difficult to resist the chocs, to my great surprise . And share them with others.

Musing Of A Leadership Coach: August 2008
http://lifecoachmusings.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 04, 2008. Jelly Beans and perspective. I don't want to work in the usual office environment which seems rather uncreative and uninspiring. I believe that your workplace can reflect your personality and the ideal that you aspire to in your working life. It is important that my clients feel comfortable when they are having their coaching and that our team is in an inspiring and uplifting place during our working week. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Musing Of A Leadership Coach: A Valentine's Message for You
http://lifecoachmusings.blogspot.com/2009/02/valentines-message-for-you.html
Friday, February 13, 2009. A Valentine's Message for You. Happy Valentine's Day to you all. It is a day to celebrate love and I want to thank all of you who I have worked with in the past year, who have supported me both professionally and personally and everyone whose lives I have touched in whatever way. Maybe the word 'love' word needs to be resurrected in the business community, where we have seen so much greed and self-serving uncovered in the past few months. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Musing Of A Leadership Coach: June 2008
http://lifecoachmusings.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 19, 2008. Well, it's been a real merry-go-round of a time since I last wrote. I have moved into a new office, got a new website, had a great time with old friends from Greece and, maybe most importantly, my son has been to his new secondary school for the first time to see his new classmates and meet his new teacher. All big stuff and I am feeling rather discombobulated by it all! My son is very happy with his great school and at 11years of age it all before him. And that makes me happ...

Andrew Scott Training: January 2015
http://ascotttraining.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 29 January 2015. Today I went to the Carlisle Ambassadors meeting, to discover what it was all about. After a brief welcome from Katie and Michelle, who had organised the event (very successfully indeed), we had a short talk from Simon Harrison, the co-owner of the Halston Aparthotel. Which was hosting the meeting. Jason Gooding, the CE at the City Council. The City Council started it, but the politicians were bravely stepping back, to allow others to shape the agenda in a collaborative way....

Andrew Scott Training: February 2015
http://ascotttraining.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, 27 February 2015. I spent three days last week involved in media training as part of the Cardiff Futures programme. Our media experts, Karen and Kevin from Mosaic. Were excellent, as ever. They started by pointing out the time and attention constraints that mean that in a media story, you have to present your key messages as early and as concisely as you can. In fact I was reminded of what Andrew Derrington has been drumming into me about Assert-Justify. Links to this post. In the first place it ...

Andrew Scott Training: October 2014
http://ascotttraining.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 October 2014. Learning to Write (ii). About the positive effect that writing a glossary had had on my writing, and my understanding of the writing process. This week's assignment, which I have just reviewed with my writing coach, Andrew Derrington. Was equally powerful. Andrew had introduced me to the art (or science? The technique is simple: take your text, number the paragraphs, and for each numbered paragraph answer a few key questions, including ' What is the topic of this paragraph? It is...

Andrew Scott Training: March 2015
http://ascotttraining.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 21 March 2015. As anyone who has anything to do with me has probably heard by now, I am currently writing a book. In fact, I have finished writing it and am busy editing it at the moment. One of the problems with which I have been wrestling is the title, as I recount here. The original working title was: Freeing People to Perform -. How changing their stories can transform people. However, over time I grew less convinced that was the right title, and then had the idea of calling it. About histo...
