Saturday, January 2, 2010. Gingerbread recipe from the Kitchen of Ophia Wampler Cummings. 1/2 cup boiling water. 2 1/2 cups flour. 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger. 4 tablespoons melted butter or lard. Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 until done. (toothpick inserted in center should come out clean when bread is done).
