Riley's hair has been growing so much faster than Maddie's did at this age and I've been able to get in in 1 little pigtail on the top of her head for a while but the other day I experimented and got two! I think she looks just like "Lil" from the Rugrats! She kept saying, "mmmmm, mmmmm! Until every last bit of it was gone. :D. Yes, she kept saying "mmmmmm, mmmmm" with the dirt too! If you're wondering if this girl ever stops smiling the answer is NO! What a joyful life we have!

Monday, June 21, 2010. So, our little Riley, whose not even 2 yet, has taken on a real thing for clothes! I guess they all do at this age, but it truly fascinates me how picky Riley is about her outfits these days and how GREAT she is a choosing her own! She will literally kick and scream if I pick out something she doesn't want to wear. So, I let her do it and it always works! Both of the girls LOVE dresses and skirts! I guess I've trained her well! Riley LOVES to wear her sunglasses wherever we go!

Friday, July 23, 2010. Another memory from heaven? Today, while driving to the lake I had forgotten my wedding ring so I turned around to go back and get it. Once I had it and we were on our way again Maddie was talking to me about being married, saying things like, "If you have a wedding ring then you're married and if you don't then you're not married." I am able to get to know Russell in a new way. Like sometimes he likes to sleep on the floor. I would never have known how much he likes books. His room is full of toys and he always chooses books. Because of the monitor I notices him sleeping by the door. Again with the books. LOVE. He sleeps just like Toby.

So we have started the potty training process and with that comes hilarious wardrobe and lots of carpet cleaning. Yes underwear over this diaper.
