NO, I am not multitasking! September 26, 2011 in Uncategorized. And… on Tuesday, I finally have my appointment with my oncologist. I get a bone scan to “see what chemo has done to my bones” and a general follow-up. I personally think that she could have put that in perkier terms like “we would like to see how strong your bones are.” Something like that. More to come later but I thought I would share the joy of being up so early with the rest of you! Almost Three Years Since the End of Chemotherapy.

I just found out that I am NOT Superwoman! October 2, 2011 in Uncategorized. Yes, that is right. I have finally (well, hopefully finally) figured out that I am NOT Superwoman. This may come as quite a shock to many of you as I know it is to me. I have not written in a while because I have literally been too busy and to damn exhausted. When I woke up, guess what? Ok I am so tired just writing this little bit today. I will give you the big update from my oncology appointment this week a little later...

And to give thanks. November 28, 2011 in Uncategorized. What a difference a year makes! I was able to visit my husband’s family in Texas! It was great. This morning I go in for my nipple reconstruction. I will NOT be under anesthesia so it should be interesting. I asked my husband if he wanted to go and he said that it would “take the mystery” out of it. Lots has happened. I will write more later and keep you posted! Almost Three Years Since the End of Chemotherapy. September 15, 2013 in Uncategorized. It has been almost three years since I ended my chemotherapy. I believe (chemo-brain still plagues me) it was October 20, 2010. My follow up with my breast surgeon and my oncologist last month went well. My oncologist said that I will see him again in February for possibly a last scan for a while. Of course, that terrifies me because I will be insisting that I continue to have scans!
