Jul 15, 2010. 40th Celebration, Day 5. Andy's mom, Dorothy, and her husband, Ed, arrived from San Diego this afternoon. Andy was running around town filling out paperwork and peeing in a cup for his drug test. He starts his new job sometime next week. We were all able to enjoy dinner together. Andy and Ed ended the evening watching Food Network's Alton Brown. We shall see what tomorrow holds. 7/16/10, 6:57 AM. October 1, 2009. From My Kitchen to Yours. 2 Cups Pumpkin Pie Filling. 2 tsp Baking Soda. 4 tsp Baking Powder. Shake of Pumpkin Pie Seasoning. Preheat oven to 350. Combine first 5 ingredients. In separate bowl combine next 8 ingredients. Mix ingredients from both bowls together. Add the vanilla and stir. Drop teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove to cooling rack and frost immediately. 1/4 Cup Melted Butter. 1 Box Powdered Sugar. Combine first three ingredients.

Jul 13, 2010. 40th Celebration, Day 3. Unfortunately Andy started this day with one of his least favorite activities, a trip to the dentist for a filling. The Dr. took good care of him and made sure Andy couldn't feel any work being done. Surprisingly the visit wasn't so bad. Andy's niece, Kylie, loves trips to Starbucks.
