curious kangaroos: Star of Patience
http://curiouskangaroos.blogspot.com/2011/11/star-of-patience.html
Usually when I make something for the blog, I need to make it again to photograph the creation process (the first time around it is impossible because I don't know what I am doing :). But not for this one! Because it takes quite a bit of patience to complete it (hence the title). So once is quite enough for me, thank you. All you need is some scrap materials to cut the triangles from, and to fill the star in the end. Good luck if you try this, hope you have better supplies of patience than me ;).

curious kangaroos: Paper Top
http://curiouskangaroos.blogspot.com/2011/07/paper-top.html
What's more fun then a top? The one you made! To make these paper tops you will need some old newspapers and toothpicks. 1 Mark and cut the newspapers in even stripes. (keep the oppened part of the newspaper toward you). 2 Glue ends of stripes to each other so you get one long stripe (in a nice messy pile). 3 Glue the stripe to the toothpick and start wrapping. Make sure to tighten the paper every once in a while as much as you can. The tighter the better. Spin, spin, spin! 23 July 2011 at 16:01. This is...

http://curiouskangaroos.blogspot.com/2011/11/business-card-people.html
Stack of old business cards quickly becomes an army! Yellow versus white - go! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Making toys from what you can find around the house can be a fun journey for both. Friday, July 01, 2011. What manner of devilry is this? These fanciful looking critters are in fact standard, easily-baked-at-home rolls encased in cabbage leaves, resulting in this cool effect:. Given that my first task upon arriving at work is to make bread, it seemed the perfect excuse to give it a try. Continue reading this post. Posted by Nigel Olsen. Thursday, May 26, 2011. My god, have you ever tasted raw milk? I wanted to get my hands on some just to see what it was like - it's amazing stuff!

For all you DIY lovers - here is how to make your own pair of MOGU sleeves! If you don't yet know what these are, check out the story at indiegogo. If you are a fan of free, outdoor physical play - you will love these. I have tried quite a few different materials, and suggest following:. Go with lite materials, because 1. they fly better, 2. kids will get hot wearing them. Yet, not too lite, since they will need to indure a lot! Once you have chosen a material, the rest is simple! Cut is very simple....

Taxidermy Collector . Oddity Enthusiast. I am Kanna Ingleson,. Enthusiastic collector of top-end, unusual taxidermy in West London, UK. I believe that curiosity and collaboration are cool. It started with an ordinary, one-eyed cased fish 6 years ago. Today. My home resembles a natural history warehouse, and that's exactly how I like it. I am the proud custodian of numerous pieces from the golden era of Victorian taxidermy. And that's why I can never claim that my collection has been ethically sourced.
