This can bring anxiety over the unknown but I hold on to the idea that change is good and helps us all grow. Hippy dippy? Maybe, but if you don’t like it, the alternative outlook I’m offering is “people are dealing with things.”. The big change for me and Billy in 2015 is that we are moving to Edmonton! Take a peek at these! Canadian Food Championships in Edmonton.

Is Gwyneth Paltrow Wrong About Everything? By Meredith April 30th, 2015 Book Reviews. Gwyneth is way off base with all the health and beauty tips she shares with the world, but so is the vast majority of everyone else. It starts with the skin/diet/lifstyle 'guru' down to Gwyneth and every celebrity with a diet, in a magazine, or any other bullshit they are trying to push to consumers. And then it extends to . Is Alberta the Texas of the North? By Meredith November 19th, 2015 Canada. I recently went to Dallas for a Library Communications and Marketing conference. It was awesome but I'm not talking about that today. My goal for this post is to put to rest the stereotype that Alberta is the Texas of Canada by comparing Dallas to Alberta's two big centres, Calgary and Edmonton. Let's see if it works. and . Why my son acting like a jackass makes the thought of reincarnation very comforting – Cupcake Hippie
http://www.cupcakehippie.com/why-my-son-acting-like-a-jackass-makes-the-thought-of-reincarnation-very-comforting
Part hippie. Part cupcake lover. All smooshed together. Why my son acting like a jackass makes the thought of reincarnation very comforting. Health Wellness and Hippie Stuff. May 6, 2015. May 6, 2015. As I am sure some moms and dads of little boys can agree, boys can be little jackasses. Mine can be a monster. A rascal. It can be exhausting. But he is also smart. Really freaking funny and very entertaining. He is only 6 years old so I have no idea what is in store for us in the years to come. We saw two ...
#littlekidproblems – Cupcake Hippie

Part hippie. Part cupcake lover. All smooshed together. September 12, 2015. September 13, 2015. To go in line with #firstworldproblems, my husband and I have started making a list of #littlekidproblems that our little people have had over the past few years. Your mom tells you that she forgot your booster seat, so you have to sit on a cardboard box. The head falls off of your favorite toy. Your mom forgets to order hot lunch, and it is a pizza day. You feel the need to drop an F-bomb. Crooked or not they...
Oreo oh baby. – Cupcake Hippie
http://www.cupcakehippie.com/oreo-oh-baby
Part hippie. Part cupcake lover. All smooshed together. March 7, 2015. March 8, 2015. I made a delicious vanilla cupcake. Batter from scratch (because that is how I roll). I chopped up oreos and put them in the batter. I put about a tbsp of batter on the bottom of each cupcake liner, smooshed a full size oreo onto the bottom and then topped with the rest of the batter. Once they were baked, I topped them with a beautiful to-die-for oreo crumb buttercream. Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window).
About Me – Cupcake Hippie
http://www.cupcakehippie.com/aboutme
Part hippie. Part cupcake lover. All smooshed together. I am a self proclaimed “Cupcake Hippie” living in Central Alberta, Canada. It is true what they say, our winters can get very cold. I end up spending a lot of time indoors, and one of my favourite past times is making cupcakes. I make cupcakes for people I love, or even making them for people I don’t love and maybe just like a lot. I just really like making cupcakes. This is me making the most of a beautiful summer day in Alberta. For curing a cold.

Part hippie. Part cupcake lover. All smooshed together. Health Wellness and Hippie Stuff. January 21, 2015. February 20, 2015. Unlike Silly Sammy Slick, I did not sip six sodas and got sick sick sick. (Dr. Suess reference for you fans out there.) But my family and everyone in my world has been battling with colds off and on for almost two months now. Not fun. But what is fun, ok awesome at least, is this fantastic detox bath. Here is the recipe: Detox Bath. Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window).

The Curious Law Librarian. The musings, rants and ramblings of Alex Cato. I'm a Research Librarian and library/law nerd of a contageous level. Opinion's her own, not anyone elses. It’s mid-afternoon on a weekday and I’m at work. It’s a busy day, I’ve got a couple of research tasks on the go and then my internet slows to a crawl. Trying to keep a little calm I ask around the team. Everyone’s experiencing the same issue, not a good sign. What do we as a profession do for the online collection? Whilst the W...

A journey through a budding interest. Thursday, January 5, 2012. I forgot to add: New stuff up in the store! Http:/ curiousmetals.ecrater.com. Six-prong settings have proven to be a worthy opponent.but I have defeated them! They are quite different than four-prong. I did successfully set a six-prong ring though! I have also figured out the flattening technique! That's not the scientific term for it. But I learned exactly how to bend the prongs to flush the stone with the setting and make it pretty! Silve...
