kreachr's little corner: Dude, I'm sorry...
http://kreachr.at.jessep.co.nz/2015/05/dude-im-sorry.html
Tuesday, 26 May 2015. Dude, I'm sorry. I've been working on a shawl over the last few days. One I started back in 2013 - this seems to be a bit of a theme of late, picking up old projects I started too long ago. Shawl, knit with Skeinz. Mink yarn in laceweight. With a colour change, I decided to work in some of my handspun scraps. Now, I'd come to the realisation some time ago that as much as I like spinning, and the finished yarn in a skein. I don't particularly like the finished yarn knit. I apologise ...

kreachr's little corner: Double Rainbow: 2015 Edition
http://kreachr.at.jessep.co.nz/2015/06/double-rainbow-2015-edition.html
Tuesday, 16 June 2015. Double Rainbow: 2015 Edition. I had a goal this year of beating last year's time. I had a slightly more ambitious goal of placing in the top three for my age group. I didn't quite manage it, but I came close - 4th place. Oh well. The photographer (Allan Ure from Photos4Sale. Was being cheeky and positioning himself at the top of hill climbs. I know it was because that's where the good background views were, but it certainly makes you work. Running up hills is hard! My official time...

kreachr's little corner: Ommmm...
http://kreachr.at.jessep.co.nz/2015/08/ommmm.html
Monday, 3 August 2015. Mmmmygosh, I've been going to yoga classes for two weeks and let me tell you, they are waaaaaaay better than trying to do your own thing at home. Even with a phone app/DVD/whatever, it is really quite hard to be sure you're doing it right. I found out about an awesome deal at the Auckland Yoga Academy. Last Friday I got to check out the Auckland Food Show. Thanks to Green Meadows Beef. It was great seeing the Carey boys again (they're good people, I like them), get my answers (coin...

kreachr's little corner: Vrrrrrrmmm

Sunday, 15 January 2012. That's the sound this month is making as it whizzes by. It's already the middle of January! I finished my Derry Raglan and Cowl. And decided after trying it on that the sweater is definitely a go, but the cowl. not so much. Perhaps the cowl would benefit from some blocking, but at this stage I think it'll just stay as a possible accessory if it gets. Cold (which is unlikely up here). Still, I'm more than happy with the sweater:. They shall be winging their way to her first thing ...

kreachr's little corner: August 2015
http://kreachr.at.jessep.co.nz/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 24 August 2015. The Frank and Ethel Collective. You know me by now, right? You know that when I decide to do something, I go at it whole hog. Yep, that's me, all or nothin'. Remember last post I was poring over gardening books and planning an assault on the front yard? Well my friends, the wheels are most definitely in motion. It all started with sprouting mung beans and alfalfa seeds:. So much alfalfa. From two tablespoons of seeds. In one measly pot? Flat leaf parsley and some anaemic-looking b...
