freeul: On raising a MAN
http://freeul.blogspot.com/2008/05/on-raising-man.html
Tuesday, May 13, 2008. On raising a MAN. C’mon in and get comfy. Don’t mind the mess…our cleaning lady had a bit of an accident so she’s been off for about a month. We’re picking up the slack, but not as well as she does! Today, The Boy did something wrong. He scolded a 4-yr-old boy when he should not have. The child's mother. Completely freaked the fuck out. At this point, I'd had enough. I was at a good stopping point at work so I decided to confront the neighbor about her not allowing The Boy to a...

UGH It is too much trouble to upload it again! When we arrived at the property this weekend, this is what we saw:.

Great Family Food: Mexican Turkey Stew
http://foodourfamilieslike.blogspot.com/2009/11/mexican-turkey-stew.html
Good food, from scratch, that our families like to eat. Friday, November 20, 2009. I made this up last night for my kids and one of their friends, and they all loved it. they even asked for seconds! It's a fairly thick stew, definitely something you could eat with a fork, so if your kids like something closer to soup, this may not be for them. 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey (or use roasted turkey cut into small pieces, about 2 cups). 1 Tbs vegetable oil. 1 medium onion, chopped. 2 tsp chili powder. Cindy m...

Good food, from scratch, that our families like to eat. Thursday, December 10, 2009. Linguine with Leeks and Prosciutto. Cindy mentioned this recipe when we walked on Tuesday and she's so busy I thought I would post it for her. I made it for dinner the other night and it's truly fabulous. not low-cal, but so delicious it's worth it. The original recipe calls for asparagus, but since it's out of season Cindy substituted peas. 2 Tbs olive oil. 3 leeks, cleaned well and chopped coursely. 1 cup frozen peas.

Great Family Food: Lemon-Cilantro Marinade
http://foodourfamilieslike.blogspot.com/2009/05/lemon-cilantro-marinade.html
Good food, from scratch, that our families like to eat. Monday, May 4, 2009. We used this on some chicken the other night that we grilled. Everyone loved it. For my kids, it was worth the step of putting the whole batch in a food processor so that the cilantro pieces got really small. If I just chop it, they see little green leaves on their meat and try to wipe them off. 1/2 c olive oil. 1/2 c lemon juice. 5-6 garlic cloves, minced. May 4, 2009 at 6:23 PM. Spicy Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette. 188; cup sugar.
