Curls on air and on wheels. Lost limb February 9, 2010. One bit of salvation was my copy of London Cyclist, which turned up the other day. I got to read it on the train. There’s an interview with Anna Glowinski ( www.ananichoola.co.uk. Whose ideas and designs are pretty cool. So Curls on Wheels is going to get on the case to see if I can review a jacket. Whilst on the train back from Brighton to London, which was delayed with only several carriages, therefore undeniable full there was a significant lack of bike respect. Curls on air and on wheels. Curls on a date and then fell off! April 1, 2010. My bike situation is in situ as I’m on a borrowed mountain bike, until I’ve had the chance to get my hands on a new bike for myself. currently in the process of a new job which involves a move to another town and all sorts of sorting, so the bike will come. This cycling chic is taking some getting used to, but I just about held onto my dignity and he was keen to meet again, so my accident prone tendency obviously has some charm!

Thursday, 10 June 2010. RAAM 3 days to go. Day 2 dawned bright and early at around 5am (jet lag still not over). Kit sorted again and then breakfast with the crew. Registration at Race HQ followed and a chance to meet some of the other teams in the race. The RAF boys looked pretty bling in their white kit (its the new black) and the 2 man team velocity ( firemen)looked fit and raring to go. The weather in Oceanside was ok, around 80 degrees, but inland on the first day route it was over 100 at 7 at night!

Friday, 21 January 2011. Okay it's been a long time since my last update, and much has happened in the world of RichiesCycling. I've participated in my 2nd MTB race and it was disastrous. I think I really need to stick to road riding, or at the very most enter the 'fun category' in any future races. The photo looks good though, huh? Unfortunately as far as the thefts go, this is what all of us cyclists are up against in this day and age and very seldom do the perpetrators of these crimes ever get brought...

Tuesday, 15 December 2009. I took up cycling early in 2008, and joined Godalming and Haslemere Velo Club soon after. During that year I met some great guys who are excellent cyclists. They taught me how to ride properly! They even managed to get me to vomit on one particular hill climb! That year saw me improve my riding slowly but surely.
