July 19, 2011. Today was all about giving back and paying it foward. Myself, along with other local volunteers, headed over to Alma Florist for the day to create these cheerful bouquets. Working with your colleagues is always a good time, but knowing you are all working together for someone who may not otherwise receive flowers.it's an amazing feeling. Below is a picture of the team. Curly Girl Goes No Poo

I decided to stop using shampoo because commercially made hair washes/shampoos strip your hair and scalp of their natural oils which makes your scalp produce more oil which in turn makes you rely more heavily on soaps and shampoos to clean it and conditioners to replenish it. I'm hoping my natural oils will make my naturally curly hair fuller, healthier, happier and prettier. this is my journey to being "no-poo"! Friday, April 10, 2015.
