The Lightner Family: May 2013
http://sarah-chocolatemommy.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 30, 2013. Nothing like a posed picture…. Our church decided to torture the families of FFC by making a church directory. :) Ha ha! Now if you have never participated in this endeavor, it is not something that you need to add to your Bucket List! Basically everyone in the church – or as many as possible – sign up for a time for a picture of their family. They are posed in the normal awkward positions - - nothing natural about them, unlike Rachelle Chase Photography. Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

The Lightner Family: November 2013
http://sarah-chocolatemommy.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 27, 2013. In this day and age, selfishness just comes naturally. We all have a bent to think of ourselves first and look out for NUMERO UNO. ME! Those are the all too often phrases that children and ADULTS all over the United States chime over and over each day… if not, each hour! BUT I WANT TO BE DIFFERENT. AND I WANT MY KIDS TO THINK DIFFERENTLY! And this is exactly what GOD wants for me and my family! They also completed MANY extra chores to get more offering money. Enjoy seeing th...

The Lightner Family: July 2013
http://sarah-chocolatemommy.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 24, 2013. One of the many reasons that we were excited to get home from our vacation was to see how our garden was growing! We didn’t plant tons of things since this is our first year trying, but we were anxious to see if they were dead or if our neighbor had remembered to water them! Can anyone say “. Stir fry for dinner”. In fact, she didn’t like the idea of cutting them up either…. until she tasted them! First fruits got me thinking about all of life: are we really living like it all b...

http://sarah-chocolatemommy.blogspot.com/2014/05/bubs-is-2.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2014. My baby is not my baby anymore! He has rapidly been propelled into the little boy stage instead of the baby stage! He is TWO….two just seems MUCH bigger than one. We were thrilled to be able to celebrate his birthday with friends. He had a “Choo-Choo I’m Two” theme since he LOVES trains! He had a blast with friends, balloons, balls, the bouncy house, and FOOD, of course! Here are a few pictures from the day! What a great addition to our day! Outside at the Bouncy House! Life here i...

Monday, July 15, 2013. Last saturday i went with the reimers family to a berry picking farm in Connecticut to get red raspberries, black raspberries and blueberries! They were so yummy:) on the way home we stopped at moolicious ice cream to get a pre-dinner treat (i got my usual strawberry cheesecake in a sugar cone). It was great! When we were going to get our picture taken it was funny that they said "would you mind taking our family's picture? Guess i'm their other daughter :). Tuesday, July 9, 2013.

The Lightner Family: February 2013
http://sarah-chocolatemommy.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 25, 2013. Cut the cake, already! It really wanted to make a pizza cake for the party, but I had no idea how to make it look sort of real. I sketched a few things and then went to Pinterest to help me. Here is the finished product… a real looking pizza cake! I am SO PLEASED how it turned out! The girls loved how we all sang to them! I had 4 candles on the cake for Hannah and 6 for Grace! And btw, everyone loved the cake… it was a BIG HIT! Anne and her momma! After a little tutorial on how...

The Lightner Family: Birds Unit
http://sarah-chocolatemommy.blogspot.com/2014/05/birds-unit.html
Wednesday, May 14, 2014. We are nearing the end of school with just a few last minute things to finish (we are about 95% done)! We have had a great school year with many projects, activities, books, and MUCH KNOWLEDGE! I have really liked the curriculum that we have used and will DEFINITELY be using it next year! Bring on the fun! Today we got out our new bird feeder and filled it with seeds and then made another feeder using a soda bottle! Caleb, you must put down the ball if you are going to help!
