Somehow, I just knew within minutes of reading the announcement that people would be seeing this as further validation that Apple didn't care about Java, but Sun is one-upping them, and haha stick-it-back-to-Apple-we'll-have-Java-anyway sort of thing. One (of Many) Reason Why Best Buy Sucks. August 19, 2009 8:58 AM. Work took me in to my "local" Best Buy recently (I say "local" because 20 miles isn't really local in my book, but whatever.) I had to buy an HDTV monitor, and they simply had the best price (by $10, but when I have to be reimbursed for the purchase, every cent counts to me, even if it means going into that hellhole). February 6, 2009 8:32 AM. Short rant: the most recent episode of Ace of Cakes. Featured the crew making Boba Fett's ship, Slave 1, from Star Wars. Circa Empire Strikes Back. According to Duff). They made quite a big deal about how they needed to ensure the ship was accurate for all the Star Wars. Fans Only one problem. The ship was the wrong color. I mean, seriously, how do you make an entire cake-turned-ship-replica, make a huge deal about all the accurate details, and get the color. Game of Life in 3D.
