Monday, February 22, 2010. What's in a name? Absolute yumm friend who has never entered the kitchen is forced to live by himself. He ate out every day and then realized he can't afford to and needs to get healthy. He: Yedi, I can't believe it! I can't believe it! He: I made something. I created my own recipe. I'm soo proud of myself. He: I chopped cucumbers and tomatoes. Added salt and pepper. He: And get this. dumped a small container of yogurt and mixed it all in! Not bad, huh? Very original, huh!

Wednesday, February 23, 2011. First of all, I'm not explaining my absence. Had written this a few weeks ago. So, I craved for sakkarai pongal and incidentally it was Pongal/Sankrathi last week. I went to Sand's crockpot recipe. And started the process. If you notice, she has Paal payasam listed first and Sakkarai Pongal later. Well, my scroll bar got messed up and I ended up adding a gallon of milk (from the paal payasam recipe) instead of almost half the amount of liquid she suggested. Links to this post.
