Then I let it slip into my Sizzix Bigshot under Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Seventeen die-cutting wafer. Check out the puffed dots - cute! THE HAP-HAPPIEST SEASON OF ALL. And hello to you, too, my no-post-for-three-years blog. Believe me. For three years I have been stepping into blogger.com in attempt to post for all the craft and life events I've had, only to end up tweaking the blog design. I swear, I am going to stick with this one. It's still in its skeletal form, though. No social media icons, dead gallery and contact pages, etc. One step at a time lang tayo. This time I will be focusing on the content.

I AM AT IT AGAIN. Tis the season to be crafty! It is that time of the year again when my hands are itchy for calendar making. I'm going to show here how I make a simple flip calendar. Here are the stuff I used - minus the PC and printer. Top to bottom;left to right) Tozicle Double-Loop Binder by Carl, my blade cutter cutting mat, We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper, Elmer's glue and glue tape. I then took some kraft board and trimmed to the same size as the calendar pages for the calendar stand.

My attempt at spray painting. I used Groovy Girl alphabet die from Sizzix and cut few letters from my vinyl sheets. I took the negatives from the cutouts and fixed them to the mug/bowl. Then i covered the rest of the mug/bowl with sheets of paper and spray painted. The smudges in letters M and A were because of the vinyl stickers not being fixed well to the mug prior to painting. Malen is a friend who just turned another year older last week. Belated happy birthday, Malen! July 9, 2012 at 11:45 PM.

I found several old Christmas tags that needed a home. I was planning to DIY a box for them but recalled that I had these gorgeous wooden storage boxes I bought from Saizen. They were at PhP88 ( $2) each! The ones pictured are two boxes on top of each other. Other designs available were crates and two-shelf drawers (pictures in this Daiso Japan site.
