We always welcome volunteer support! The backbone of the Cuttyhunk Historical Society, docents welcome visitors to the museum, answer questions, and locate resources for additional information. Docents receive training and on-going support while working, must enjoy working with the public and have an interest in Cuttyhunk history. Shifts are typically 2 – 3 hours. Age 16 and older, please. From Your Attic to Ours: Gifts We Treasure (2015-2016). From Your Attic to Ours: Gifts We Treasure. Displays some of the many unique gifts received over the years from members of the community. Many objects and documents have been in storage since coming into our collection; unless they relate to the theme of an exhibit, they do not come on view. This exhibit provides a chance to see just what has been donated to create our eclectic collection of Elizabeth Island history materials. MR = Main Room.
