Occasional musings and things. Misadventure on the tops. March 27th, 2013. At 17:34 on Monday I called 999 for the first time in my life. I badly misjudged the severity of the snow up on the tops and after what had been an amazing walk across the moors to Stoodley Pike. Stoodley Pike still in the distance but already looming large surrounded by bleak landscape. A drift far worse than the one pictured here blocked my way.
