Magazines, Travel and Middlebrow Culture in Canada 1925-1960. Fashion and cosmopolitanism are intimately connected in the pages of Canadian magazines. In the earlier twentieth century, the magazines became both exhibition spaces and marketplaces for imported foreign styles.
