Mon, May. 13th, 2013, 11:22 am. ESG Las Vegas, or How not to run a con. No real events for the first two days, no direction for the guests. the official con was just dismal. The last day got better, but it was still a mess trying to figure out what event gathered when and where, transportation problems, and the restaurant was very much overbooked. The lunch time feast was an exceedingly nice touch, but not nearly enough to compensate for the utter lack of forethought in the rest of the con.

How're you all doing today? We have a super-sweet dog (border collie / cattle dog mix), a couple of friendly kitties and a dorky ferret. We'd welcome cats and other small animals but our dog is pretty alpha and we're not sure how another dog would work out, but we could have a doggie date and see, I guess. I'm gonna be in the Delta, Colorado area for about a week, starting Wednesday through Tuesday next week (7-28 through 8/3) for my stepfather's funeral.
