Wednesday, July 27, 2011. I was able to see an orthopedic surgeon after my ER visit and I elected for surgery in place of "waiting to see if the collarbone heals.". My friends were awesome, coming over to bring meals or flowers, hang out, encourage, pray etc. My coworkers were very understanding and helped me while I was out. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Lately . . . Here are a few pics from summer/fall since I have not blogged lately. Augusta Half Ironman- My bike accident occurred while training for this day. I hope to compete next year. I went to support my USA Fit friends and my small group friend Diana. Fiddler's Convention w/ Deb, Mom and Aunt Pat- Athens, AL. Auction Kings in Atlanta w/ Heather and Dave- this is a fun thing to do and they film the show live during the auction. That's all for now! Today is a big day!

Sunday, August 5, 2012. Getting Older . . . Here are a few pics from a couple of bday celebrations. I am looking forward to this year and praying that God will continue to lead and guide me in all I do. Brian, Keisha and I in my office- we all used to be on the same team at work and have stayed great friends. Marcos Pizza with Steve, my crash buddy and Nadia, my triathlon friends. Monday, December 13, 2010. Today, in spite of the cold weather and busy season, I'm thankful for many blessings. My parents, who are in town for a quick visit. My sister, who gave me free Shutterfly Christmas cards to send out this year as well as designing the cards for me. (I'm still in the process of getting those out). My friends, who keep me laughing and make the holidays fun. My Savior, who gives meaning to the holidays and His love and mercy every day. I am truly thankful. And then there were three.

My friend Diana from Atlanta made the trip to do the tri and Tracie, my friend from high school, got up early to come out and cheer. I'm so proud of Tracie, she just ran her first 5k this summer! Tuesday, May 8, 2012. It's Been Awhile . . . I have not really taken the time to update my blog this year even though there have been a lot of great things going on in 2012. I was inspired this past weekend when I met a local famous blogger, Swim Bike Mom, and realized I do want to keep a record of what's going and have something to look back over. Monday, October 11, 2010. Spain pics . . . finally. I was blessed to be apart of this wonderful trip and I have a new group of people to pray for! My new friend Rebeca (in purple) and her sister Esmeralda. They attend Parque Este. Marta (Rebeca's daughter) and Marta. Some of my students from the intermediate group. World Cup- this was a huge deal in Spain and they won two games while we were there! Maria, my co-teacher/translator. The center of Sevilla at night. My view from the train ride to Malaga.

Monday, January 17, 2011. The holidays flew by and it was a blessed season with family and friends. The new year started out with a bang . Snow my first white Christmas in Alabama and then in January four snow days off from work! I haven't seen this much snow in a long time. It was a nice break from work and I got a lot accomplished at home. Thanks to my friend Brianna for rescuing me one day to get out of the house to go to the movies. Christmas morning in Alabama.
