Sunday, April 27, 2008. Scott Spark - review. Posted by Gary Mandy. Scott Scale - Single Speed review. My 2008 Scott Spark 15 is a super uber-light racing machine, it was light when it came built as a geared hard-tail, but now with a single blade at the back and front, no shifters, no shifter cables, modified Avid Juicy Ultimates, Stans tubeless rims and Rock Shox Sid front fork the bike has taken on a whole new meaning of the word light! Friday, June 20, 2008. Tour de Nez TT. Being a hill climb TT we all decided to use a standard road set up with a few tweaks. As you might be able to tell by the picture above. I rode the Team's Scott Addict Team issue with a Zipp 606 wheelset (404 front, 808 rear). In hindsight I think perhaps a set of 303's would have been better had I known the course was that steep. It was a lung buster and we are all very stoked that Matt churned out such a great race. Posted by Gary Mandy. Monday, June 16, 2008.

Saturday, August 2, 2008. We have just returned from our trip to Bali. This year seemed so much more special than any other holiday we have had there. Perhaps it was the time of year or perhaps the more we go there the more we appreciate what we have created for ourselves. . We were blessed with perfect weather, perfect surf, fantastic staff at the house and the food as always was outstanding. Here is a link to more pictures of our trip. Posted by Gary Mandy. Chickadee Underground Series: August 2009
http://chickadeeunderground.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 17, 2009. Chickadee #2 Results and Photos. It was hot but not too hot: 87 in Truckee, 97 in Truckee. It was far, but not too far: 115 miles, with lots of climbing: 11K'. Highlights included: some of the climbing, Virginia City, and the always-beautiful views of the Lake. Flat tires and water stops kept the group somewhat together until the climb up Spooner, at which point the heat, distance and climb blew things apart. Pizza and beer taste even better after spending 7 hrs in the saddle.
