Better than a good day at work". Monday, May 25, 2009. Well, It's been a while, to say the least. But it's not easy riding 43 miles commuting, working 8 hrs a day and trying to keep up on Facebook. Updates, as well as Cyclingnews. Interesting year so far for me, started off with terrible weather and an inability to ride my bike more than 12 mph.on a good day! Then I was talked into racing the Race Across Oregon on a 4 man team, that's 528 miles, in 20 minute increments! Links to this post.

http://shutuplegs.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Just because you think about it doesn't mean you get it. The inherent flaw in positive thinking was highlighted this weekend as I came home both days without landing in the right break. Tour de Dung 1:. On Saturday, Elizabeth and I headed out to Sequim. Elizabeth took the roles of Buckley's substitute aunt, team photographer, and corner seven motivator. After an early break in last week's Mason Lake. John O'Groats to Lands End

John O'Groats to Lands End. Sportives are fun…. 8230;cramp is a bitch. So, back to the ride itself, it was actually thoroughly enjoyable. Beautiful country roads, nice fast downhill sections and had I not been cramping up I’m sure I would have enjoyed the challenging hills considerably more. In total, I had to walk up two hills although I certainly wasn’t the only person doing so. May just give you that added little incentive! You see, when I first started out on this cycling adventure I simply wanted to...
