Cindy’s Hope Chest. Inspired by the cancer diagnosis of his grandmother in 2011, Virginia Tech student Patrick Acker fundraised for cancer research and counseling by crossing the country on his bicycle during the summer of 2013. Joined by fellow VT student Morgan Bissell, Acker cycled from San Francisco, California to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Cindy’s Hope Chest. About Alpha Tau Omega – Virginia Tech. The Alpha Tau Omega Theta Delta Colony at Virginia Tech was founded on October 18th, 2013. The goal of the chapter was to change the way fraternity life was run at Virginia Tech, while encouraging men to better themselves through brotherhood and leadership. After a very successful first year, the ATO Theta Delta Colony received its charter from ATO National Headquarters on October 18th, 2014, exactly a year from its colonization date.

Cindy’s Hope Chest. Welcome to our little corner of the Internet. Kick your feet up and stay a while. Day 45 – Chesapeake, VA to Virginia Beach, VA. July 15, 2013. Short 30 mile ride into the Atlantic Ocean to conclude the 3,300 mile trip to beat cancer.
