A Cycling Holiday Base in southwest France
We'd like to say that these are five of our guests racing to get back here for dinner! We have to confess, however, that they are in fact the lead cyclists in the 2014 Tour de France, photographed by your host as they passed within a few hundred metres of our cycling holiday base (pictured below). Cycling is of course hugely popular in France but it is particularly so in the southwest. 2016 will see over fifty road races in our locality, including the 21st running of 'le Tour du Lot-et-Garonne'.
