Lastly before I end my blog I want to tell you about the problems we had on our journey. 1) bicycle computer cable caught in wheel, abrasion cut the wire off so after 1st day it was useless. 2) Bicycle kick stand.unable to keep bike upright ,too soft and useless for the weight of the bike with pannier bags. 3)mud guard( fenders) too narrow and short.can't keep mud from splashing on to my back.always have dirty muddy t shirt. 6) needs to bring synthetic lubricant coz. Thursday, September 11, 2008. 11 Sept R and R @ Sa Huynh. Today is a rest and recreation day.but I still woke up at 4;40 am.read my lonely planet book and then watch a movie on my iphone. There till lunch time and ordered lunch.today we had fried fish cutlets.beef with chili. And lemongrass.salad.and steam rice.and more Vietnamese. Coffee on ice.the restaurant. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. 10/9 Quang Ngai to Sa Huynh 62 km. Today was a easy day compared to yesterday,only 62 km.first we got back on the Highway 1 and head south all the way to Sa. Our first stop was a beef noodle shop on highway 1 as these kind of noodle shops are plentiful. Breakfast tasty and filling, traffic was good today not so much.as we can cycle on the road instead of the cycle lane which is always fill up with the farmers on the HW. Saturday, September 13, 2008. 13 sept Rest day in Qui Nhon. Our breakfast this morning was at a little Noodle stand that sold pork liver and pork blood con gee. It was a typical Vietnamese. Local stall where everyone sits on low plastic stools and eat off a small plastic table.again we just ate whatever everyone had, surprisingly. I have not had the runs yet after eating street food for 9 days but Lou had it on the 2 nd. Day after eating some sauce with " Belacan. Then I went looking for some batteries.

Saturday, September 27, 2008. Well this morning I woke up at 6 am .had a shower and went to wake lou. I went downstairs to withdraw some money from the ATM as its Sunday. Today and I can't change my travellers checks as the bank is closed and we have already Book for the 3 days tour of the Mekong delta bus cost is $37 u.s plus $5 extra for a room by myself total cost $ 42 u.s for 2 nights and 3 days tour of the Mekong Delta.
