Cycling Obsessions: Trusting an old friend
http://cyclingobsessions.blogspot.com/2010/11/trusting-old-friend.html
An attempt to explain my love of cycling, bikes, people who ride, watching racing, etc. I'm sure I'm not alone here. Saturday, November 27, 2010. Trusting an old friend. Thoughts invade my mind as I pedal, across TV Highway and onto River Road. Got the pump, spare tubes. I have my cell phone. Does anyone know where I'm going? I stop to talk to some pygmy goats along the road, who are bleating at me through the chainlink fence. They are incredibly cute! This is my Thanksgiving. View my complete profile.

http://cyclingobsessions.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
An attempt to explain my love of cycling, bikes, people who ride, watching racing, etc. I'm sure I'm not alone here. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Is it just me, or does it feel like Fall? Or my own bike on rollers (like I did while watching the Tour of Flanders last Sunday), but I don't. Not sure why. Doesn't make sense to complain about my lack of fitness and then go home and practice my couch luge form, does it? Speaking of the Ronde van Vlaanderen (Flanders), what an. I should know, having lived in Orego...

An attempt to explain my love of cycling, bikes, people who ride, watching racing, etc. I'm sure I'm not alone here. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. No major catastrophe. Sarah told me yesterday that one person had their tire stuck in a gap between the plywood but I didn't see it nor hear of it. I walked the length of the bridge a few times to check the plywood, keep people moving on the sidewalk and took a few group photos of people who stopped to admire the view. Cycling Obsessions: July 2010
http://cyclingobsessions.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
An attempt to explain my love of cycling, bikes, people who ride, watching racing, etc. I'm sure I'm not alone here. Friday, July 23, 2010. Can't believe it's almost over. This Tour has been full of bad luck for some - Cadel Evans' broken elbow, Tyler Farrar's broken wrist, Frank Shleck's broken collarbone, to name a few. Some have abandoned, some have soldiered on. Chapeau to Cadel for hanging in there, and to the sprinters for making it over the Alps and the Pyrenees. Tough lads, they are. Until Monday...

Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Monday, July 25, 2005. Seven is my favorite number. On another note, I apparently broke the internet today as my *#&@&($ DSL was down since lastnight. Also my blender decided to explode as I was making my smoothie for breakfast. Then I went to Home Depot to get a screen door tonight and have concluded, after wandering the aisles looking for the person in the orange apron, that I CAN'T do it, because they WON'T help me. Jerks. Posted by Linda J. @ 8:34 PM. I hate f...

Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Sunday, June 26, 2005. Has the meaning been lost? It just occurred to me, while listening to people set off fireworks, that it's only June 26th. Whatever happened to celebrating a holiday on the actual date of the holiday itself? Last time I checked, the 4th of July was celebrated on the FOURTH OF JULY. Have so many holidays been reduced to what type of candy we consume? All I see when walking around the neighborhood is the trash people leave behind. Hmmm This is ...

Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Friday, November 26, 2004. Pie for breakfast is good. I love Thanksgiving. For one thing, I make the best. I'm wondering whether to venture out in the fog, go to the gym, or stay home today. I'm not really into shopping this year, but apparently the Christmas season is going full throttle without me anyway. *sigh*. Posted by Linda J. @ 10:40 AM. Tuesday, November 09, 2004. Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Saturday, August 28, 2004. I finally found the article I was looking for that details the two presidential candidates and their music preferences. http:/ www.newhouse.com/archive/Rios081804.html. Sorry to all you country music fans and Bush supporters (that seems to be a lethal combination, if you ask me).but Kerry has much better taste. Plus, he's an avid windsurfer, so that in my book is a total slam-dunk. Http:/ oregonlive.com/search/index.ssf? So I'll be busy.

Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Saturday, October 16, 2004. Imagine encountering these two presidential candidates in downtown Washington D.C. - on a Saturday! Posted by Linda J. @ 4:41 PM. Went to Virginia to visit relatives and had a good time. My uncle and I walked all around downtown D.C. one day and saw the original documents of the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and the Constitution, which was a pretty patriotic thing to do in an election year, I thought. A friend of mine is i...

Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Saturday, March 12, 2005. Too much to do.too much nice weather. The weather here lately has been incredible. My sister got tickets for the U2. Portland concert in December. I think it's crazy that they are already on sale, but I wouldn't want to miss it.I hope I can sell the ticket I bought for the April 25 Seattle show. I can't wait for the 3/28 San Diego Vertigo. It's in two weeks. I've been enjoying books on cd, the best invention ever. Check it out on Amazon.

Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Monday, September 20, 2004. So we're doing these 3-lappers at practice yesterday, where you start out slow and gradually increase your speed. Of course I fall on the 3rd and fastest lap. It didn't hurt then, but I'm sore today like I slammed into a wall. I'm so glad we have pads in our rink. I'm looking forward to a weekend in Bend with friends and the Jack Johnson concert! Posted by Linda J. @ 11:39 AM. Friday, September 17, 2004. If dogs could blog. part 2.

Just whatever I feel like ranting about. Monday, December 20, 2004. Wake me when it's over. I'm so done with the holidays already. I'll admit that I do get a bit excited when the UPS truck stops in front of my house, and I got 3 packages on Saturday! My nephew sent me this! He's so sweet. I can't wait to read this book, and it has some incredible pictures in it. One of these days I'll really. Posted by Linda J. @ 9:41 AM. Portland, OR, United States. View my complete profile. An attempt to explain my love of cycling, bikes, people who ride, watching racing, etc. I'm sure I'm not alone here. Saturday, September 29, 2012. The Reve lives on. Dreams - everyone has them, I know I do! Saturday, June 23, 2012. I have a blog? The funny thing is, my sister (probably my entire family) thinks I'm obsessed with cycling, and they say it like it's a bad thing. It's like being called a bitch in a good way, as in "wow, you're an assertive/gutsy bitch"! But some of my favorites aren't going t...

Punters and loyal cycling enthusiasts will have to wait a little bit longer before getting anymore details of how all the bans and appeals will result.
