The mural tour is visiting NE Alberta again, and this time we're taking a look at the ginormous rabbit mural on the side of a building between 18th and 19th. Sunday, August 02, 2015. The ongoing mural tour takes us back to the Hollywood district again. A few weeks ago we visited the Velo Cult mural, which faces a parking lot near NE 41st and Hancock. The same parking lot is also home to the smaller mural shown here, on the back of the Nectar Cafe. An artsy/healthy neighborhood coffee place. The mural's signed "Notes", which is basically impossible to Google (or Bing, if you prefer). Luckily the cafe's Facebook page. Had a couple of photos of the mural being.

Saturday, August 12, 2006. Night of the Lepus. Ok, kids, it's bad movie time again. I finally got around to watching the legendary killer-bunny movie Night of the Lepus. The other night. And ohhhh, it's as bad as they all said it would be. I mentioned the movie once already, in this post. Which is mostly about endangered rabbits, etc. Other worthwhile reviews and comments at. Doesn't have a lot to say, but has a couple fun bits of movie trivia. Attack of the 50 Foot DVD. A guy speculating on how to remake.

Saturday, October 04, 2014. Koi Mural, SE Hawthorne. Here are a few photos of the koi mural along SE Hawthorne, between 9th and 10th. It's on a wall next to the historic Red Men Hall building. The weird name refers to the fraternal organization. It was originally built for, a group allegedly descended from the Boston Tea Party guys, and later New York's Tammany Hall.).
