Cedric, Marie, Chris and Jimmy came out to race the new and clean Bellum. Daniele was camping. Intense and rigorous. Boat performed well, but not good enough. Last. Again. The dark and stromy clouds over Pointe Claire could not stop Jimmy or Naomi from going out. Winds were 20 knots, dropping to 10 at 7. Nice race. We did very well. I bought this neat fold-able trailer and Jim, John, Norm and I assembled this trailer today. And while we were building the trailer, a nearby building was being demolished partially collapsed. Boat Log of S/V Bellum. These are our story about Bellum, a Mirage 33 sailing out of Montreal. Saturday, June 27, 2015. Saturday sail and joined Annual Regatta. We got up about 9 AM had bacon and egg breakfast. Set out just to sail around. Sunday was supposed to be a write-off weather-wise. Tried to call Andre by DSC, but we were not successful. Boat Log of S/V Bellum. These are our story about Bellum, a Mirage 33 sailing out of Montreal. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Norm and Chris and I were going to race Wednesday, but the fleet did not go out due to strong winds. The Lasers went out. I came to the club early to finish the washdown pump installation. There were problems with the water intake nipple. Since the fleet was not going out, we went to boathouse to get some fittings. The fittings did not fit. Norm had a fitting that fitted.
