I really shouldn’t call this post “jacked” because it might imply an applejack, which would only be if I froze the hard apple cider and separated the alcohol from the water. Home of another Austin Brewer. By Head Cyko Brewer. After about 2 weeks at about 50 degrees fermenting I finally brought the Miller’s Independence. Up to the 60s to cleanup any diacetyl. This past weekend. Then finally today got it transferred over to secondary. Impressions from drinking my measurement are that it will fit the style near perfectly and if it was just cooler should also fit the pallet of my target audience. With great joy I was able to celebrate both an addition to my brewing clan, with my new daughter Juliet, along with the tapping of my first hard apple cider. It’s perfectly sweet, a little bubbly, and a perfect color….oh and the cider is all that too. I made this drink just for my wife who isn’t a big beer drinker, but loves hard ciders and hard lemonades. Proud Mom, with both presents I helped make for her. One thought on “ Celebrating Family.
