I am Laura, and this is a place for musings, reflection and the occasional rant. I am currently a PhD student at Lancaster University, researching the British Royal Family and their popularity in an age characterised by rising socioeconomic inequality and ‘the 1%’. I am interested in areas surrounding popular culture, celebrity, class, femininity and masculinity.
