Good and not so good news. The good news is my bones and marrow are clear! Since that is a critical part of recovery and such good news, we are hoping that this other is simply leftover cells from the disintegration of the large tumor. Many of you seeing this already know the story, but I’ll give a shortened version here so that others might be up to date. Within a short time, the doctor came in and said he had something serious to discuss. He told us I did not have a kidney stone, but I had a “mass” in my stomach which was, in his opinion, probably Lymphoma. Wow! From indigestion to Lymphoma is three short hours. Of course, there would be many tests before he was proved correct. To say this was a surprise is a major understatement.

We just returned from our visit with Dr. Samaniego and our news was good. The spot they are watching is still there which, I believe, was a little frustrating for all of us. That said, Dr. Samaniego and the 22 other Lymphoma doctors who discussed my case feel this is. Active Lymphoma and they are putting me on a follow-up schedule as if nothing showed up on the PET/CT scan and I was visibly cancer-free. How good is that! Next Post →. Me & Rick.
