Thursday, December 31, 2009. Bbye 2009, Welcome 2010. So here sitting in the dying moments of 2009, instead of being in a wild party, with a glass of Vodka in my hand and dancing like crazy as anticipated, I am sitting by the PC at home in Ankleshwar blogging. I just heard some fireworks in the background, so its 2010 now. I had the countdown moment blogging. So cheers to a better year for me and everyone around! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, February 19, 2009. Guess what Friends, I did something totally crazy today! We had this research mixer social event today in school, something I helped arranging! Well nothing remarkable in it, other than that I bunked one of my classes to volunteer for it, and I had 4 Beers (Red Trolley) in it, and then I attended another class of mine! Turbulence - supposedly one of the toughest ones I am gonna take for my MS! So one thing I got from it today was that I can go Drunk to a class! 3 I copied for...

Sunday, July 26, 2009. Process of Arranged Marriage. This post may sound a little bit odd, especially coming from me. I have been a firm believer of Love Marriage from as long as I can remember, somehow I always thought that I will go for love marriage, and so did almost everyone who knew me. Lets go through the basic process once, I am sure its quite similar with other Indians too. 1 Looking for prospective brides - Basic criteria: Good family, Education, Beautiful, Height and the most important Caste!

Raahul's Thoughts: May 2010
http://rahulkapadia.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 21, 2010. Yesterday I was talking to a friend of Atreyi about a Movie Review posted in a magazine of hers at school. Something which came to my mind a few days back. What are the magazine critique's / Reviewers supposed to be like. I personally feel a magazine reviewer should be what the readers want? I personally as a magazine reader would be even disgusted reading a review by a person totally different then me and think twice reading that magazine again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Raahul's Thoughts: January 2009
http://rahulkapadia.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 24, 2009. 1 Khaled - Aicha:. 2 Enigma - Child in Us:. I generally like all of the Enigma songs, but this song has always been my favourite. The song features a stanza in Sanskrit, sung by a non Indian Woman, but I found the diction just about perfect, and it fits so amazingly well with the music, more over when the translation of the Slok is then sung, and it also is equally melodious. 3 Dire Straits – Romeo and Juliet:. 4 Linkin Park – Numb:. 5 Linkin Park – Breaking the Habit:. For pe...

Raahul's Thoughts: May 2008

Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Something I have cherished from the first flight I took almost some 20 years back. So how was the experience, as exciting as ever. Plus flying cuts down the journey time by a great extent, so here I am from Mumbai to Delhi in 1 Hr 30 Mins, a distance of around 1200 Kms. And this is why I love Flying! Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Friend - A Nudge! Well this is for a very good friend of mine who lives in Singapore (Guess who). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Well for starters, I am writing thi...

Raahul's Thoughts: November 2008
http://rahulkapadia.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 24, 2008. For starters the title has purposefully been made grammatically incorrect…. Well for people who know me, I am a social drinker. I like to drink occasionally, generally don’t prefer Beer (though recently have discovered a Beer which I liked) and generally prefer Vodka (Smirnoff and Belverde to name a few), Red Rum (Yo Old Monk), White wines and few cocktails. Before coming to the US, I badly wanted to try Tequila. USA or America as we fondly call it, is a dream for quite a lot o...
