Hi, I'm Amy Hyink! I remember glazed carrots being of particular interest at the time. I learned about adding a little vinegar in a cupcake recipe to get the batter to rise, or adding ground flax seeds to a cookie dough to bind it together. I've been baking vegan for almost 6 years now. Amy's Vegan Confections started out as a way for me to share baked goods with friends, and friends of friends in the Austin area.
