Dabbling in Differentiation

Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Today I want to share a game with you that I haven't tried yet in my classroom, but that I used to play when I was in grade school. It's a game that can be used with any subject really, but I am going to share how I will use it for spelling. This year my students will play Spelling Baseball! The first thing you need to do is set up your classroom to resemble a baseball diamond. My plan is to place these bases around the room, with home plate in the front of the classroom. 2 If the...

Dabbling in Differentiation: November 2015

http://dabblingindifferentiation.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 14, 2015. I recently ordered a blog t-shirt after my new blog design was finished and I wanted to share it with you all! I ordered my shirt from A Images, Inc. Here is their main website http:/ www.aplusimages.com/. I was able to design my own t-shirt here: http:/ designtool.aplusimages.com/. I chose to use the color pink and my blog and TPT logo. It was a very easy website to use. On the design page, I just chose the color I wanted, inserted the picture of my logo and was done!

Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Ohmygoodness. It is already JULY! I'm starting to feel the need to organize and plan and decorate and everything else school related. Hence, my Target trip earlier this afternoon. But first, there is always time to link up with Farley at Oh' Boy 4th Grade. For this month's currently! As I mentioned, I just went to the Target One Spot. And I got all of this cool stuff! More to come on that later.). And need a place to put all of it. Not to mention, we are having company over t...

Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Leaving Work at Work. Do you ever get so caught up in work that you wonder where your day went? You say, "I can't wait to read my new book tonight" or "I'll put that puzzle together soon" but you never do? I was feeling that way last semester. After the new year, one of my goals was to set a time limit for myself with work. Now, you could be thinking, how can I do that? There are so many things that I like to do:. I like to cook! I like to play games! I like to color! Listeni...

Dabbling in Differentiation: January Currently

http://dabblingindifferentiation.blogspot.com/2016/01/january-currently.html

Monday, January 4, 2016. Perhaps this year I can actually stick to my resolution of blogging more! It all starts with a Currently! Listening: If I am listening to the clock ticking, that means that there are no other sounds going on around me. Which means, silence. Sometimes it's nice to just sit and listen to nothing. Loving: I love puzzles and I got three new puzzles over break! I can't wait to put them together. Life is good :). Even though I was late, you can still link up with Farley! I agree with t...

Mrs Landry's Land of Learning. A place dedicated to learning for ALL students! Laquo; Monday Made It. Daily 5 Book Study- Chapter 1. By Mrs. Landry's Land of Learning. On August 2, 2014. Wow It’s August. I think this meme pretty much sums up how teachers feel about August…. Had that on her FB page and I was like YES! But while that may make us depressed to a point, it’s also exciting. New kiddos! And while I ‘m at it, I’m linking up with Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade. For the August Currently! Http:/ dabbli...

Dabbling Dutch Mama | My journey towards a simpler and healthier home

My journey towards a simpler and healthier home. December 23, 2016. This time of year, my Instagram feed is full of friends having fun afternoons decorating sugar cookies with family. It’s sugar after all… but am I really enjoying it? 2 lbs white chocolate. Put candy canes in ziploc bag and crush with dough roller (or bat). Cool in fridge for 45 minutes. Off the ...

It's done as a "One shot - One minute" film with minimal post editing. Was checking out the depth of field possibilities - amazing! The cam offers the possibility of shooting video the way we look at still images with subject isolation! This does what big buck cameras would not do. Links to this post. Professional Learning, Snow, and Ice. 8220;It may be a loss rather than a gain to escape from the control of another person only to find one’s conduct dictated by immediate whim and caprice; that is, at the mercy of impulses into whose formation intelligent judgment has not entered. A person whose conduct is controlled in this way has at most only the illusion of freedom. Actually he is directed by forces over which he has no control.”. Popular culture and media bombards young girls with distorted accounts of teen pregnancy, but what message is it sending to the young boys? Although males do not make up large portions of these show’s followings, the image of ease that they portray is applied to the father characters, if any 16 year old boy can be called that, as well. Where these shows should be ter...Televis...
