Daddy is Home.well, sorta. Sunday, June 2, 2013. By the way, Logan's learning to ride his bike, sans training wheels. He does really well until the neighbors cheer him on and he jerks his head in their direction, along with the handlebars. We're hoping that before summer is out, he'll be going solo. At least, I think that's what we're hoping. I bet he can do it! June 7, 2013 at 9:26 AM. Steering and stopping are his biggest hurdles right now. And, really, how important are those skills?

Daddy is Home.well, sorta. Saturday, December 22, 2012. I wish things were that simple. The holidays are on their way. We're out of school for two weeks. For most of us, the world didn't end. Monday, December 10, 2012. Anyway, Auden sings along to both songs- he knows most of the lyrics, surprisingly. And when I get to "Nothin' can harm you," Auden shows some potential jazzman qualities: while I'm holding that note, he follows it up with "No harm me" like he's improvising or something. Cute.

I have noticed that I often rehearse things I'm going to say in my head before I say them out loud. I wonder if most people rehearse the words they are going to say. This is the first time I can truly remember someone not having heard this name before- it's so common in English. It's crazy that his name was so foreign to her! It's such a familiar and dear word to me. Even my name is sometimes difficult for French speakers. When it's written, it looks a lot like the French phrase "I like.". Whats in a Name?

While we have been waiting for our sea container to arrive, we have been staying in a furnished apartment. The apartment is nice- much better than sleeping on an air mattress and eating from paper plates in an empty house!
