February 27, 2018. Considering I play football once sometimes twice a week, I’ve remained remarkably unscathed for the past x. Would love to say that was due to my twinkletoed skills and nifty footwork but more likely it’s that I don’t annoy anyone enough to come careering into me. I’ve even taken to not wearing shinpads in recent times- previously a critical staple of my footballing prowess – because there was no danger of getting hurt. That all changed on Sunday at the FA People’s Cup in Stockport.
