In March, we celebrated our 10th anniversary! So much has happened since we got married 10 years ago, yet it also still feels like it just happened. I can't believe it's been 10 years. We joked about remembering having a conversation on our honeymoon about going back to Maui for our 10th anniversary. Ha. Well with 2 kids plus another on the way, a mortgage, and student loans there is no way that's happening anytime soon! I'm sure someday we will vacation just the two of us again. I just love my sweet boy!

My mom and sister did a great job of coming up with some cute decorations for the gender reveal party. my family and john's family came back over to our house after quinn's birthday party for a late lunch and celebration of baby #3. The votes are in! Surprisingly, most people guessed girl. i actually thought it was a girl, which is why i guessed boy. i've been wrong every time with what i thought we were having, so i thought i would outsmart myself this time. :). We look forward to the cinco de mayo tournament every year. we get to catch up with friends from college that we really only see once a year and the guys get to pretend they are still as "in shape" as they were in college :). it's also really fun to have all of the kids on the sidelines playing together and watching their daddies play the game they love. Doing a little reading on the way down to san antonio. Playing with daddy between games on saturday morning. Playing soccer with grayson on the sidelines.

Fun times with friends. In november, we had a great week with tyson, kelly, asher, and norah when they came to visit from boston. unfortunately, my morning sickness (aka all day sickness) hit hard that week so i wasn't feeling great. but we had so much fun just spending time with our friends. We started the trip with a picnic at this awesome playground! Elliott and norah got the short end of the stick on this one. The kids enjoyed going to the stockyards to see the longhorns and watch the shriner's parade.

C was so excited for her butterfly makeup! A co-worker gave us this (falling apart) minion costume that was way too big for the kids so john wore it for a little bit. and then i made him take it off because he looked ridiculous. We went trick-or-treating in our old neighborhood and it was so fun! People there go all-out: adults dress up and they decorate their yards and have fun games outside for the kids to play. We play tball in the backyard! We may need to work on her stance. Perfect weather for an indoor picnic. C loves to sit on the counter and do her makeup with mommy! First day of pre-k. Q started a new school for pre-k this year. Sweet, handsome boy on his first day at his new school:. He just walked right in, sat at his desk, and started working. He just looks so big! After we picked him up, these two cuties had some snuggle time on the couch. I think it's safe to say they missed each other!
