I seriously recommend going some day. They are pretty incredible! The festivities start the morning before and there are tents all over campus and the parking lot. The entire campus is Tailgating! Casey, Korbin and his friend Blair(who was grounded) decided to take her on a mountain adventure on the Razor. As they were heading back to the car they saw a really big steep hill covered in gravel, and being guys, said "Oh lets do it! For the 4th of July we went to Idaho with Porters Family! It was so much fun! Oaklee loved being able to just wander around and play! There were lots of kids and all kinds of dogs and cats to play with! They had a little playhouse and Oaklee had so much fun in it! She liked playing peek-a-boo through the window!

Monday, September 10, 2012. Chicago and Old Nauvoo. In August Porter had a Fall Break for a week. We hung around for a couple days and played in South Bend and then decided to take a family trip. We went to Chicago for a night and then made the 5 hour drive from their to Nauvoo. Chicago was really fun. We loved walking around the big City and seeing all the shops and buildings. Oaklee had lots of fun at the Bean! Smoot wasn't quite sure what to think. The First Midwest bank Amplatheatre at Tinley Park.

Sunday, September 2, 2012. Michigan Lake, Silver Beach. Silver Beach was one of our favorite places to go in the Summer time! Since Michigan Lake is so big it felt like the Ocean because you couldn't see the other side. The had nice white sand, that had been trucked in, a big fountain/splash pad to play in, and a carousel. Smoots favorite part was eating the sand. When we were done swimming we headed over to the Pier and fished for a while. The kids were all fascinated with the worms. 4th of July 2011.
