Dad Of An Addict. Living life, one day at a time. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Time keeps marching forward. Over the last couple of weeks I have learned a few things. 1 There is a big difference between recovered and in recovery. Our son will never be recovered. He (and we) will always be in recovery. 3 Giving back and helping others in need is good for the soul, not only for the addict but for us the co-dependents. That's all I have right now.
