All engines will perform better if they use the highest octane gas available (usually 91 these days). The engine should run smoother and you may even get better gas mileage. The few dollars extra you'll pay is well worth it. TIP: Even if you don't drive a high performace car, using the highest octane gas will improve performance.

Once applied it should dry naturally, usually taking a few minutes; once dry the excess wax is removed with a polishing cloth to achieve the desired shine. Applying wax in the sun usually causes it to harden faster than it dries, thus making it difficult to remove.

If you change your own oil, it may be a good idea to replace your drain plug with a magnetic version. These will trap any metal particles or shavings in your engine, both preventing possible damage as well as letting you know something may be wrong (if you find a bunch of metal shavings attached!
