Spring Break is Different This Time Around. March 21, 2011. We didn’t plan a trip to Disneyworld. I didn’t send her to her grandparents’ house. We just did life. And you know what? That was a glorious thing. I’m very grateful to have been able to spend this week with her, even though I had to work during the day. It was just a regular week — except I had my daughter. I could really get used to it. Last year, I did not get to see her over Spring Break, so I’m counting this as precious.
