A blog about food family and fun. Sunday, September 20, 2009. Lime ginger and soy Flank steak. This was a really easy dish we tried last week that was awesome. It will be something we do often now. It uses a few ingredients that bring a lot of flavor. I forgot to include the soy sauce in the picture.but I used the low sodium kind with the green cap. You will need. 1 to 1.5 # flank steak. 1/2 C soy sauce. 2 T fresh or ground ginger. Zest and juice from a lime. I hope you enjoy my first post!

I haven't posted in a long time but I wanted to post about the amazing blessing of dedicating Bryson to The Lord this past weekend on October 20th! We've been attending Harvest Bible Chapel and absolutely love it! The childrens ministry director Pattie and our senior Pastor Brian did an amazing job! So to be able to dedicate our little miracles to The Lord together is such a blessing! For this child, and the Lord. For his whole life.

Monday, October 29, 2012. I Will Trust In You. In my last post I told you about the clot and bleeding that I was having. I had an ultrasound after that on October 9th and Praise God, the clot was gone! And I'm excited to say that I haven't had any bleeding for over 3 weeks! I know that we serve an awesome God but satan was whispering in my ear saying "are you sure you believe your God can perform miracles? So I went into the appointment not knowing what to expect. Everything looks completely perfect!

Sunday, December 19, 2010. Long time no post. Well, the semester is over and I'm finally on Christmas break! It was a difficult semester - 5 classes, working 24hrs a week, being a mommy and wife, but I did it! And I only have 2 semesters left, Praise the Lord! It's all been such a blessing and God continues to open doors and things just keep falling into place! God is SO Good! Sunday, 5 February 2012. Flat as a pancake. Today we've made a snowman in the garden. He's not particularly tall – taller than George but not as tall as Daddy – and has the same affliction as the Elephant Man. In fact if we were to lay him down his head would fall off. He has a bucket for a hat and did have a carrot nose and stones for eyes, but these fell out after a few minutes. He has twigs for arms and in true snowman tradition has no legs.
