This week has been a week of firsts. This is the first week I am by myself with B-man as David has returned to work. Things had been pretty easy those first 3 weeks with us sharing the day-to-day tasks. However, I am exhausted this week. Thank goodness the weekend is almost here :). Oh the joy of parenthood, right?

It all started last year when Shane thought he might want a turkey fryer (for frying turkey) and I thought I might want a turkey fryer (to can with because we have a ceramic cooktop that is BAD for canning). So we bought a fryer, invited a bunch of friends over, and fried a turkey! It was such a hit (and I still hadn't used the fryer for canning a single thing) so we had another one!
