Special Touch: Sonya Renee + Slam Poetry = Amazing!
http://specialtouch.blogspot.com/2005/01/sonya-renee-slam-poetry-amazing.html
Sunday, January 09, 2005. Sonya Renee Slam Poetry = Amazing! I just found the website for my favorite Slam. You have no idea how happy I am about this! Her performances are so breath-takingly profound! You really need to see see her live to get the full force of it, but you can listen to her poetry here. There's more than one track on there, so make sure you hear Liking Me. I'm also partial to Droopy Anderson, though sadly his site. I suggest Why Do I Like You? And No Accounting For Taste.

And there is no one left to speak up for us! Posted by Special Touch at 7:42 PM. Sunday, February 13, 2005. We deeply resent the a...

In Silico: Geocaching Demystified
http://nsilico.blogspot.com/2005/02/geocaching-demystified.html
Saturday, February 05, 2005. My friend, Daedalux. Introduced the sport of geocaching to me several months ago. At first, I was somewhat blase about the whole thing, but a couple of weeks ago I started reading about it. After going to the geocaching.com. Website and reading the book Geocaching for Dummies, I became hooked on the idea. Admittedly, this is a somewhat nerd-centric pasttime, but it is a lot of fun and if nothing else, is a great excuse to get outside and exercise. Posted by nsilico at 5:33 PM.

Dædahl: February 2010
http://daedahl.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Putting the fragments together. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. I was familiar with the artwork of Brom. Long before I realized he was writing books. I recently picked up a hardcover copy of The Child Thief. Suffice to say I am very glad I did purchase the book. Its wonderful prose immediately drew me in. Brom paints as effectively with words on a page as he does with oils on a canvas. Either way his true talent is revealed in his imagery. Is more in the vein of Lord of the Flies than any Disnified image you...
