The Pompeii chronicle is going to be a long one filled with far too many photos – I think it has ended up being about 6 posts. This has come about because our day at Pompeii was possibly the most interesting place I’ve ever been and I absolutely loved it. An attempt to record my year over in the UK. Monday, 15 October 2007. Apologises for the complete lack of blogging - I'm on my way home now. Hi anyone who is still checking this despite my complete lack of blogging of late (and thank you if you have). I have to apologise for my complete lack of blogging and emailing of late. Home away from home. Things tend to fly around in my head with irregular speed and frequency, much the same way I am likely to use a blogspace. this is me, today. Sunday, November 29. I took the dog for a walk this morning. Small thing, I know, but it felt really good to go out and about town with her. She was all snuggled up in her warm Sunday best (yes, I make her wear a little plaid flannel coat so she doesn't get cold, she's so tiny! Links to this post. Tuesday, November 17. The Vatican is incredible – there are so many statues, paintings, murals and the buildings within the Vatican walls are brilliant. An attempt to record my year over in the UK. Wednesday, 3 October 2007. Tuesday 2nd October 2007. So we got to the colosseum and looked at it from the outside – walking around the massive structure in awe.
