Chicks and ducklings to love!

http://eastvillageidiot.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Reflections of a fourth generation east villager bouncing back and forth from Tompkins Square Park to her outer city pad in Strawberry Fields. Monday, February 07, 2011. That's what I am these days. It has taken forty eight years and finally, I feel an increasing desire to embrace the practical. Across the top of his work. At one point my son said, "You expect me to do well and usually I do. That is a lot of pressure. When I don't do well - the response is even stronger. I don't get a break&#...About the...

Reflections of a fourth generation east villager bouncing back and forth from Tompkins Square Park to her outer city pad in Strawberry Fields. Wednesday, June 05, 2013. I have many regrets about dropping off the radar with eastvillageidiot over the winter and spring. I missed the chance to INSIST that you march over to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see the film installation Street. An amazingly cool work by artist James Nares capturing the spirit of the real people. Of New York City. Read more:.

Reflections of a fourth generation east villager bouncing back and forth from Tompkins Square Park to her outer city pad in Strawberry Fields. Sunday, June 26, 2011. A few weeks ago, Ben, Brian and I were in our old neighborhood and wandered into the NYC Festival of Young Artists and Leaders. While I was wandering around I caught a performance by ARTFARM. And it was masterfully done. I highly encourage people to invite them to your schools or communities. It is well worth it. Their circus set...So you mi...

http://speakingforsarah.blogspot.com/2014/11/a-halloween-story-not-scary.html
Musings of a distracted daughter of the big city. Saturday, November 01, 2014. A Halloween Story (not Scary). Today is the first day of NaNoWriMo, and also of the month in which Thanksgiving occurs. So, a good time to get back to writing here, and also to thinking about gratitude. I have no plans to write a novel, but perhaps I can at least share a few thoughts every day. Gratitude, for starters. Hey, what's up? Are you giving out candy tonight? Are you getting any kids there? The grocery clerk was still...

Musings of a distracted daughter of the big city. Tuesday, November 04, 2014. Here's a post for Day Three of Nanowrimo, barely under the wire (having missed Day Two). Today I went to work, got quite a bit done for five or six hours, barely stopping for lunch, then went out at around 3:30 for a walk in the soft, gray November afternoon, which was not as cold as it looked from inside. Posted by Sarah Sometimes at 12:34 AM. Q: Can anyone tell me the difference between K2 and IQ? A: Nthn. In Seventh-Heav...

Speaking for Sarah: Upstate Update
http://speakingforsarah.blogspot.com/2012/12/upstate-update.html
Musings of a distracted daughter of the big city. Sunday, December 09, 2012. It's an interesting life, this new life in Upstate New York. Here, I have a car for the first time ever, which, as mundane as that might be for many in our great land, is thrilling for me, the lifelong car-deprived New Yorker (as in New York City). I started gathering up the things to return (there was also an extra set of holdbacks I had inadvertently purchased) and H. asked me, "Where are these from anyway? Links to this post:.
