Dahlia and Lance's Travels. Sunday, July 12, 2009. Provence and Drome-Provencale, France 7-17 July, 2009. We visited several markets in nearby towns selling local produce and crafts; and a real highlight was visiting the studios of several local artists. On the last day we had an art show with wonderful snacks and sangria to display the works of art produced during the workshop. All in all it was a wonderful experience on all levels, touring, gastronomy, art and friendships. Maryland 5-15 June 2009.

Our lovely exchange home was located in Saint Maur-De-Fosse, a southeast suburb of Paris, on the Marne River and about a 20 minute train ride to Paris.
