April came for her first visit with Dorothy this week and brought with her the most important Texas christening material: Texas soil. Since Dorothy unfortunately could not be born in Texas, we thought it important that the first ground her feet touch be pure Texas soil. Thanks to April our child can grow up knowing the first time her feet hit the ground they were in Texas.

We try to get them to hold hands and Jack always complies by grabbing for Joe's hand but Joe won't do it for long - he has to break free! Anyone that knows Jack well, knows he is not afraid of the water, never has been. This is good and bad as I fear one day he might fall in water and not know how to swim. Neither kid looks at the camera or smiles at the same time and inevitably. Someone is crying. We took about 300 photos and got a lot of duds! These are just a few of the "attempts".
